All I can say is that Maria was meant to stop me. But Stitches West is temptation-central. It began with one ball of the much fabled Kauni, but it’s rolled off somewhere and didn’t make the photo shoot. There were needle felting supplies to be had at Urban Fauna Studio as well as some luscious, hand dyed mohair locks. I must have had a thing for those colors because I found myself drawn towards a lovely skein of alpaca blend yarn from Snicklefritz Yarns and the wonderfully named Pond Scum color
